Something about yourself
Never in the wildest of my dream did I imagine to become a hairdresser till I came across an advertisement one day on hair and beauty. Without giving much thought, I simply appeared for the interview and got selected. Once I started undergoing the training at Lambency Chrysalis Academy for Beauty hair and Spa (Habia) Delhi, I found out how exciting the profession is as you can make good money by making someone look beautiful and attractive and make them happy.
Some tips for hair care and product you would suggest
1. Condition the hair
After every hair wash one should apply conditioner for a healthy and smoother hair.
2. Hair Spa:
Apart from the daily routine, going for a hair treatment once or twice a month is recommended. It smoothens the hair strands and rejuvenate the hair, besides keeping the head free of scalp disease like dandruff which causes itchiness and scratching, injuring hair follicles which somehow leads to hair loss.
*Tips for dandruff-free scalp:
1. Olive oil: The composition of olive oil contains moisture and liquid which not only eliminate dandruff but also makes the hair smoother.
Warm up few tablespoons of olive oil in the microwave for about 20 seconds. Adjust the temperature so that the oil is not too hot. Then apply the oil to the hair and scalp and massage gently for 10-15 mins, then use warm towel or steamer for about 30 minutes. Shampoo the hair as usual.
2. Lemon: Lemon is considered as the“archemeny” of dandruff because they can confront with dandruff balance pH and oil on the scalp and it has a very pleasant aroma.
Squeeze a lemon and mix with water. Use a lemon peel to rub on your scalp and massage gently for 2 mins. Take 2 tablespoons of lemon juice in a cup of warm water, apply on the hair and scalp, then rinse off with clean water. Do it once a week to achieve a desired result.
3. Aloe Vera: Take some aloe vera gel and rub into the scalp. Leave it for 10 mins and then rinse off. Wash the hair with herbal or low pH shampoo.

Advantages of salon treatment
Salon treatment has got a lot of advantages as it gives you comfort on what treatment you go for, as it is done professionally. One most important thing is that, we give treatment according to your hair, skin type or according to your face shape and colour.
Tip for healthy skin and skin care and product you would suggest or recommend
I would suggest that one should wash their face every morning and evening. Apply the CTM (cleanse, tone and moisturise) formula irrespective of gender and not forgetting sunscreen depending on the skin type. Massaging and exfoliating is also an essential part of the regime. I don’t want to recommend on products as it depends from person to person and skin types. There are plenty of products available in the market and the only thing I would suggest is, go for a quality and trusted product and most importantly drink plenty of water, sleep adequately for a healthy, plump and dewy skin.
What makes a person feel more beautiful, with or without make-up?
It all depends on the way a person think. Being from a beauty industry, I feel a person is more beautiful with make-up as it enhance the look, but one should know how and when to use the product as there are different types of make-up such as day make-up, light make-up, occasion, parties, etc.
Advice to teenagers having an acne problem
Teen acne typically starts around the age of puberty, as early as the age of 9 and can go on for a few years. Pimples may also appear on the face, neck, chest, back and shoulder.
Do daily facial care
a. Gently wash the face twice a day.
b. Apply apple cider vinegar. Mix one part of apple cider vinegar and three parts of water (use more water for sensitive skin). After cleansing, gently apply the mixture to the skin using a cotton ball. Let it sit for 5-20 sec, then rinse with water and pat dry.
Repeat this process 1-2 times per day.
*Important- Applying apple cider vinegar to the skin can cause irritation or burning sensation. So it should always be used in small amount and diluted with water.
c. Apply aloe vera gel. Scoop the gel from aloe vera with a spoon. Apply gel directly to skin as a moisturizer. Repeat 1-2 times per day or as desired. You can also buy aloe vera gel over the counter but make sure it is pure aloe without any added ingredients.
d. One should also be stress- free as the hormones released during periods of stress may increase sebum production and skin inflammation, making acne worse. Hence I would advice doing the following activities–
· Get more sleep
· Engage in physical activity
· Practice yoga
· Take deep breath
Your opinion about beauty
Beauty includes both the inner and outer qualities. Outward beauty would include maintenance of one’s appearance (hair, face and body) and the inner qualities would be kindness, love and patience.
